I checked with Fender and here\'s what they had to say about it: Fender 1962 Reissue Jaguar Made in December 1995 Listed as a special limited edition, part of the \"Collectible Series\" They could not tell me how many fotoflame jaguars there were produced, but they described it as \"very few\". As compared to standard MIJ Jaguars, these have been going for as much as $1000 recently. The finish really is striking. There is also subtle flame finish on the neck! It\'s in excellent condition - just a few minor scratches and dings, but overall exceptional condition for an instrument of its age. The neck is just fantastic.
