OK so I have 65 reissue Mustang in white with the red PG made in 95. Its small easy to play and can sound good after a little messing around with guitar and whatever amp your using. (i have found that they sound AWESOME through a Blues Jr but of course thats just my opinion.) Mine is CIJ not MIJ like the newer ones, no idea if theres any difference. Its a very well made guitar and stays in tune and its really light.

Sound: not as twangy as a Telecaster and not quite a strat it really does have its own sound. I like to think of it as kinda throaty??? I briefly had a 66 mustang and i honestly think the japanese reissues sound a hell of alot better, again just my opinion. So if your looking to get one of course try one out first, they really do sound different but you can get alot of sounds out of it if your patient.
