For any of you who didn't know, I g)t teh kurdtz1. I've come to the conclusion that I really like the neck pick up. So I ain't gonna change tat. The bucker leaves alot to be desired though. Just finding it muddy, with no punch. So what are y'all thoughts on a good bucker to replace it?

Lets see. I want something that cuts through the cheese with some high end, is punchy, but also someting tat sonds can give me a heavy in your face tool tone.

JB, SD, ToneZone, X2N?

don't feel bad, Nik...

I'm gonna throw the SD Hot for Strat in the neck of the JS, and now I'm thinking the same thing for the bridge bucker...

It'll be interesting to see what everyone posts...(even though this has been posted a billion times)

fender dh1 works for my sound, but if you want more high-end, i'd suggest a duncan or dimarzio.

ok. It would be interesting to hear something heavy and something sharper. Heavy=Tool; Sharp = Pixies?

I'm intriged by the Lace Red Dually. Being able to use either as a single and the whole as a bucker sounds very versatile. Is there a version (eg red silver) of the Dually series where the bucker would be quite heavy and one of the singles would be more sharp?

A sound you can only get from a SDJB and a JS of course.
THis what most of the kurt heads want to know about a JB pickup, well I just recorded this little sample via my JS with a JB in it, and a Fender Deville 2x12, no pedals.

Don't go getting your panties in a bunch, its just a sound clip example, not a performance to rock the masses, its for the ones that want to hear what a JB can sound like and that was just one of the many different sounds, thats all. :o

it's just that it sounds nothing like the original and yet you say "

NO where did I say that it sounds exactlylike that song, I said an example of the sound a JB can have when played through my home set up, thats all. THIS WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE AN EXACT MATCH CONTEST A-HOLE!
