the bronco is getting closer to being done. this is after sanding with 60 grit. i am going straight to 180 after this. im totally happy how it turned out. (all the bumpy #### around the outsides is just sawdust. or i should say laytex dust.) its hard as hell now. even has the consistency of saw dust. this is also without repainting anything, which im not going to do.

looks really good, so far... :-D

I'm also quite surprised at how well the filler matches the color...

thanks mang

there was like this giant oly white cloud in the kitchen for the last hour.

i put open all the windows and kept flingin the freezer door open and shut to get it all out

i think im going to toothpick all the old pickguard holes and start fresh when the new one comes next week.

i also picked up some fender guitar strap pegs....someone blew out the the top horn and replaced it with some ghetto flathead screw that was a little thicker. i ripped off a piece of baby kitty's cat bed to use as felt between the button and the paint. she has some sort of partway ownership of it now.

MAn get those clear trash bags (like you have to use in Hamburg). You can sand in them, and they do a real good job of controling dust. Plus the bigger sizes make it easy to check in and get a clear look at what you're doing. My wife is alergic to many types of wood dusts, and she has any reaction when I sand that way....
