hi, i thought of buying a mustang, but in my country there arent any and i dont shop online, so i tought of buying a cycolne 1 w/humbukcer and replace a mustang pickuguard, a single coil pickup cover and a dynamic vibrato bridge!

now my question is, is the Cyclone 1 built 100% like the mustang and so can i fit this hardware perfecly?

They are substantially different models. Different scale lenghts, and cavity routes. To make a Cyclone look like a Mustang would take some real custom work, and probably double the cost of the guitar.

I was going to say that. The Mustangs were made in USA inside the "American Vintage" series (the same one that produces Jaguars)???

well actually i wanted the humbucker becasue cobain rooted his fiesta red stang to a humbucker, and i dont like the 3 single coils in a small guitar and even the jaguar controls, its just my opinion.

and if i buy the cyclone i for sure make a single coil black pickup cover and try to get a dynamic bridge if possible. the impossible thing i think its the pickguard right? but is the cyclone like a musatng or its smaller?

to put a mustang bridge/trem system on that cyclone would be alot of rigmarole. you'd have to take the strat trem out, fill it in with dowels/filler, then route for the new mustang trem. and have to do some painting. a standard mustang pickguard will not line up properly on that either. it can be done, with a lot of tinkering. or by making your own custom mustang pickguard. is it just the top of the mustang pickguard that you like? because apart from that, they are basically the same shape
