Hello folks,

I am wrapping up a mod I did on my Stang changing it over to a three way switch and what I am looking for is a chrome plate to cover the empty holes where the switches had been, something similar to this Posted Image anybody have any ideas? ideally I'd like to just buy something but am not opposed to fabricating it somehow.

have you considered sending a tracing of it to a pickguard maker and leaving the switches blank? seems like it would look cleaner.

I've found some stang pickguards on the net, but honestly I haven't been all that impressed with the quality of the tortoise shell coloured ones, they look cheap and ugly. I may end up going that route eventually however, but as of right now I don't feel like forking out that extra money for aesthetics on what is an old banger meant for gigging about and alternate tunings.

I'll probably end up fabricating, I'm trying to think of things in everyday life that I could cut down to size. I'm hoping for brushed stainless. Maybe a kickplate for a door or something along those lines. Maybe take a trip to home depot.
