A few other forums have these, basically its an ongoing thread to make daily (or whenever you can) entries. The trivial things, subjects or discussions that maybe dont justify a thread, tell people what's going on.
Try not to spam it up with triple posts of rubbish, keep it flowing and keep it clean!

Happy guitar week! Yesterday a friend gave me a 335 copy, i've been gassing for some semi action for a while. Also, i traded my Duo for an Epi LP Custom. Not having a set neck guitar around is weird so i bit the bullet trading one of my Fenders. Happy days.

In other news.. Still loads of snow here, but not quite enough to avoid going to work

trying to find schematics/learn how to link a circuit in hopes of building my own effects.
currently aiming for a muff type fuzz paired with an analog delay in one housing. with individual outputs and inputs to run each by itself, or in either order like delay->fuzz or fuzz->delay. would be etching my own pcb's for this once i get a good schem and the right materials. also might add a feedback switch like on my russian muff.
heres a silly paint mock up.

I applied for a census job today and did really well on the test (26 out of 28 questions correct) and I live in an area that is kind of lacking in applicants, so I'm pretty much guaranteed that I'll get a job and since I did so well on the test, it's possible that I might get a position as a supervisor. So in a couple of months I'll have a temporary job that pays about $16-$21 an hour. Yay!!! I'll finally be able to afford some of the stuff I've been gassing over forever!
would it bother you more if we used guns?

Got pics of the 335 & Custom? Get any more amps besides the Peavy?

Post some pics of the project when ya get started Harrison.

Good luck with the job feedback. I'm dying to get back to work, my money is all gone.

I took my EMG Jagstang totally apart today. Making a template of it. Gotta repair the switch that has been acting up for years, and a wire broke off one of the batteries shorting out. Gonna set the Jagstang up using my Fender Flame as a reference... for truss rod relief, nut height, action & neck angle.

The snow and ice here is terrible and my school's website is down because the prehistoric server crashed. And there's nobody to answer the phones. I can only assume the school's closed.

Funny how despite paying through the nose, my school is the only one in the whole of London who's website is down.

I saw this thread and thought it'd be cool to share. Worked on the roof of the shed all day yesterday. It wasn't much of a day I guess. I wish I had more time for music. I can't to graduate college so I can travel more and play more shows. I don't look forward to paying off the school loans though. I plan to get a practice room in downtown by the Engine Room after I graduate. I am considering living in it too so I can practice loud and not have to deal with neighbors calling the cops or family getting aggravated. It's way cheaper than getting an apartment and is livable. I am probably retarded but I think it's a cool idea.

I've been trying to get this bloody physics lab report done for the last couple of days... It's not due till a week friday though, so I have time. In other news, I'm heading back south tomorrow to Glasgow! :-D Can't wait cause I'll get to see my baby again (That's my Mustang  ) It'll be good to be back at the flat to see everyone again, though I'm not really looking forward to uni starting again... Ah well :-)

It's been cold here. Really cold. Mum took something out of the freezer the other week and put it in the kitchen to defrost. 2 days later it was still frozen :? Disappointingly little snow here though. We only have ice. Lots of ice.

Bah, my life sucks. I won't go into all the details, cause I think it'll depress you all, but it's pretty crap. My family are great and I have great friends, but for some reason I just feel really down all the time. My mum thinks I need counselling. Sorry, I couldn't think of anything positive to say.

You know what always makes me feel better. Drop D Tuning, lots of distortion, palm muting, play as fast as you can and throw in some screaming. Your mums will think the guitar is attacking you but you'll feel better.

I'll get some pics up soon. The Peavey deal went wrong, an arsehole on ebay  but it worked out well because i bought a second Sound City SC30. Now i can run teh valves in stereo'z!!

Look forward to Harrisons FX.

A rubbish day today, they seem to be getting regular at work. I might quit and join an established covers band to pay my bills. Its a plan that keeps getting put on a back burner.

Fran, if you can make a proper living out of music, do it. That would be amazing.
I got exams next week... I don't know what they're going to do about the snow if it's still there though, the school just seems to give up whenever it can.

Actually that's a tough question. I'd have to wear a paper bag over my head so nobody recognised me.
