Yeah, my friend Ben had a vintage 1962 (If Im not mistaken) Special SG (The all white ones with the golden metallics and 3 humbucks), really expensive too, somewhere over $1,000 American bucks, and dropped it on concrete due to bad strap buttons, he didnt want to replace them so that it wouldnt damage the vintage value of it.I dropped my Ibanez SDGR on concrete once. Now all my guitars have strap locks or I don't carry them with straps. Too risky.

LOL sounds like locks could have saved the vintage value. Makes me sad to hear about a nice guitar taking a dive though.Yeah, my friend Ben had a vintage 1962 (If Im not mistaken) Special SG (The all white ones with the golden metallics and 3 humbucks), really expensive too, somewhere over $1,000 American bucks, and dropped it on concrete due to bad strap buttons, he didnt want to replace them so that it wouldnt damage the vintage value of it.

You ever get sucked into that black hole, where you're just like so concentrated on what you're doing you can hardly even hear? I love that feeling.I dig it. Pretty fun way to pass the time.

If you want to learn, take an electronics class. The one at my school teaches wiring and soldering and stuff. Take advantage of free learning while you can.I've never even worked on a guitar, I wish I could though.

Speaking of Strap Locks, I installed four or five of them today. My hands are sore. Those screws are b*tches.Yeah, my friend Ben had a vintage 1962 (If Im not mistaken) Special SG (The all white ones with the golden metallics and 3 humbucks), really expensive too, somewhere over $1,000 American bucks, and dropped it on concrete due to bad strap buttons, he didnt want to replace them so that it wouldnt damage the vintage value of it.

Wow! Must be a beast! Reminds me of my Agile that arrived in tune from the factory wrapped in plastic.I dropped a Jaguar copy on concrete once from waist high. Picked it up, strapped it on and it was still in tune!

How is everyone?
Not sure how many of the 'old gang' still post here, Glenn & Luke seem to be still around.
How you guys been?
BTW Luke, congrats on the amp!
What's the forum like these days? Seems very, er, Kurt friendly.

A bit of a delay, but I would go with sexy underwear. A gift for her that is also a gift for you.Yerp... now what the hell do I get her?!
On an unrelated note, I am having a blast coming up with new wiring ideas for my new Mustang project. I wish there was a way for me to test it out before soldering.
