Gee...you guys really made me appreciate my Jags even more! Thanks for all the sweet comments!

Once I put in the aged AV reissue pickups, they'll match the Olympic white body :) Just curious, how big a difference will it make if I throw in CTS pots to replace the Japanese ones? I know the shafts are wider than the stock Japanese ones though...any drawbacks other than the need to widen the holes on the control plate?

Never understood a response like this. It borders on narcissism.

Yeah, my heart skip a little everytime I see these block inlay babies *lol* However, I do notice that the neck in this link has the normal kluson tuners and not the hexagon-shaped F-tuners that most (if not all) authentic block inlay necks come with? <---- can our resident vintage expert Rick confirm that?

they should have a "110" after the "66B" in the code, if they have f-keys. as far as i can see, you actually pay quite a bit more for block inlay sunburst jaguars that have f-keys. whereas a block inlay sunburst jag with ping klusons cost quite a bit less (even though the only difference is the tuners. ie, the price difference is more than you would pay for a set of tuners). but i think that most of the custom colour block and binding japanese jaguars have them anyway. i could be wrong, but that's how it was on the ikeba or ishibash site last time i looked.

to be a faithful '66 reissue, it should have f-keys really
