Can the string bar on a Mustang tremolo plate be easily removed and turned round so the trem arm is on the other side for use as a lefty? Appreciate any replies. Thanks

It is indeed very easy. Just unscrew the plate. Under it are posts with springs attached. Detach the springs and you can unscrew the post. Turn the bar around and you can put the posts back in. The only drawback is then the strings would feed straight through instead of wrapping under, but it should still work and some rightys prefer it that way anyways.
