One of the buttons popped off one of my mustangs machine heads. I just super glued it back on and it seems to have done the trick for now but the machine heads don't seem all that great. I don't see anywhere that sells them though. They're the vintage fender machine heads with the white buttons. I can't find them anywhere. However, I might replace them with different ones anyway. What would be some good candidates? I do think the white button heads look nice though.

Secondly I replaced the pick ups and I think I got the springs that go between the pups and the pick guard mixed up. There is a pair of small springs and a pair of large springs. Do the small springs go on the neck pup while the larger ones go on the bridge? Or is this size difference arbitrary and it really doesn't affect anything?

Angela.com sells those white tipped tuners. I dont think the springs matter too much. Probably had smaller ones in the neck one and bigger ones on the bridge.
