Best dirt pedal for Jazzmaster?

I'm getting a Classic Player Jazzmaster today and wondered what would be the "best" dirt pedal for this guitar...i mean for rhythm/chord playing...btw i play an AC30 set clean...

That's such a broad question - I mean, what type of dirt do you want? Rich, heavy fuzz? Clean bright overdrive? Dense metal tones?

They all do something different, so you should have some idea of the sound you want to create first!

Alternative rock....an overdrrive pedal i guess....i was just wondering which pedal you longtime Jazzmaster players use....sorry...

Ihave a digitech grunge pedal and it's pretty heavy. I would recommend a metal pedal since the Jazzmaster has single coils.
