Jag-stang Project (need help)

Hi, i'm new arround here, my name is André and i'm from portugal. :)
Sorry if my english sounds bad btw :s

So, like it says on the topic title i'm making a jag-stang.

I have done the template

Now my problem its the cavaties depht of the neck pocket and etc...

Can any one help me here?

I think Mustangs and Jazzstangs are around 1.5 1.6 inches thick. Warmoth makes them a bit thicker. The pickup depth I would do around 7/8 inch or so because the humbucker screws are often that long. You could make it more like 3/4 if you wanted and cut the screws shorter. I would use your pickup screw length to figure out depth. The switch area actually somewhat deeper. I think 1 inch is deep enough. Jaguar control areas are routed that deep and they are fine. These are estimates as I don't have one apart to measure. To get the holes for the tremolo right, just measure the depth you need for those posts to lay flush in the body.

Neck pocket should be 9/16 deep. That is fairly standard for the bodies that have thimble style bridges for Fender.

actually... measurements for guitar stuff is usually in inches, putting it all into CM might make it a little complicated haha.

2.54 cm = 1 inch
