Hi all,

I've purchased a jag-stang (from 96) off of a friend who beat it up quite a bit. There's only minor cosmetic damage, but a lot of the electronics seem to be beat to hell. the phase switches, some of the pots on the volume knobs and tuning pegs are all broken or missing. I'm not too familiar with the build of the jag-stang so i'm wondering what parts this guitar takes/where to buy them so if any seasoned mechanics, or the like, have some experience with this i'd love a point in the right direction. i've never had to fix a guitar like this before as everything i've ever had has been solely owned by me or was taken better care of.

Thanks!

My favorite sites for parts are:

http://www.stewmac.com/

http://guitarpartsresource.com/guitar_index.htm

http://angela.com/

Each site has the various pots, switches, jacks, capacitors, etc for guitar work at different prices. Normally I will make a list of all the parts I need and cross check those sites to find out where to get which pieces.
