I'm looking to replace the pickuos in my 62 reissue Jaguar. I want to get more bite and power. Does anyone have any opinion on either the Dimarzio billy corgan signature pickups or the Seymour duncan SJAG?
I am not familiar with either of those model pickups, but DiMarzio and Seymour Duncan are both trustworthy names and pretty much standard when it comes to swapping pickups, so I don't think you'd have much to worry about trying them out. Both websites also have a "Tone Finder" page where you can input details of what you are looking for and it will try to help you find your best option. I'll include a link to both of them:

By more power, I'm assuming you find the stock pickups to be a bit weak in output. When you say more bite, do you mean you want the pickups more detailed or you just want something that will break up a bit easier? Before you spend any money, it is worth it to try raising the pickups. They may need to be closer to the strings. The closer to the strings the more power, bite, and volume you will get. Be careful when raising, as you don't want them to be too close. Do this in slight increments. A very general rule of thumb and good starting point is to fret your guitar on the very last fret. When you are pushing down there, the string should be sitting about 3/16" to 4/16" from pole-pieces. Hope this helps.
