Another very cool Effectology video by Bill Ruppert is up! And this time he demonstrates how it’s possible to recreate Pink Floyd’s ”Welcome To The Machine” on just a guitar and Electro-Harmonix effect pedals.
Electro-Harmonix just released volume 12 of it Effectology video series. A quote from Bill Ruppert about this video below:
In this episode of Effectology I explore how to produce sounds like the haunting Irish Uilleann Pipes, Harmonic Drones and Giant Field Drums, and Backing Strings all using just a guitar and effect pedals.
Uilleann Pipes are an early form of Bagpipes that date back over 300 years.
They are one of the most expressive and beautiful instruments heard in Irish music.
Now guitar players can capture some of that magic.
