This guitar has the sound down. But the look its about 70% there. The relic would probably be frowned upon with Kurt, accepted only if you bought it that way from a musician or pawn shop. Not fake. He hated fake things. Anyway. The headstock shape is incorrect. The 2 string trees bother me to no end. Why did they add one? When did he install Gotoh tuners? Every picture I’ve seen were Kluson style tuners. Maybe at the end of his life post-Rio? Also – the logo is in the wrong position (fender logo); and the humbucker isn’t against the neck – its spaced just like the HH Classic Jaguar. So if you want this guitar and can’t afford it. Get that swap the bridge with a JB or Dimarzio, a toggle if you’re adventurous, and if you you want to get crazy a jazz bass 3 knob plate/pots. They spray the relic with a nitro – just FYI. Buy the NOS version, bang it up yourself! By playing that grunge music man!
