1997 Squier "vista" series Jagmaster.
This model is much nicer than the new ones. The neck is the big difference. It looks and feels like a jagstang neck.It has the vintage(small)frets and vintage tuners.
The electronics seem fine, no crackling from the pots, the pickup selector switch is still good as well.
The body(sunburst) is very solid as well with a great finish.Pickguard is quality too.(no warping)
I cant really find a complaint about the pickups, they seem ok.I replaced the bridge with a duncan JB and it sounds amazing.
Overall this is a great guitar. I play the shit out of it and will continue to do so unless I lose an arm or something crazy.
I rate this model an 8 on the suck-o-meter(10-best, 1-worst)Hey for a $300 guitar it should be a 4 (10-best, 1-worst)
