I bought my jag-stang brand new the in '96 (50th anniversery). the BEST playable guitar EVER. the first thing i noticed was that my hand practically melted around the neck like butter. i had no idea at the time that i was purchasing a legend in the making or a future "hard to come by" guitar.
i was 16 years old, i was and still am a huge nirvana fan, bootlegs and all. i just had to have one when i heard they were finally released. left-handed was always a pain in the butt for me, but this one was very easy to find, seeing as how the inventor was also lefty. never thought it would more than double in price. i paid about $700 for mine. still have all the original stuff, and i'll NEVER get rid of it.
p.s. the best stock tremolo
