Fender Jaguar Review

Author: HughJazz

My wife traded my four year old Epiphone Dot(ES335) for a new(Made in Japan) Fender Jaguar HH Special Edition for Xmas. This guitar is MUCH easier for me to play, mostly due to the very thin neck, "vintage"(1969) frets which are small, and contoured body.

The shorter neck and abundant convenient pickup controls all contribute to a comfortable fit. I have Parkinson's Disease, which affects the strength and dexterity of my left hand. The Fender Jaguar has instantly improved all aspects of playing for me.

The only thing I will change is to replace the strings with Elixir Nanoweb ultralights. I play Surf, Rockabilly, and 60's and 70's music for recreation only.
