Hello,
I have a '78 Mustang and the low E tuning machine needs replacing. Fender recommended these "F-style" ones that match what I have.

Problem is, the hole is too narrow to fit even a medium-gauge 52 string. It's not a factory defect; I bought another set and it's the same issue.
Anyone run into this?
