Hi everyone, so I just bought a reissue Sonic Blue Jag-Stang which I'll be receiving in a few days and I wanted to swap the stock bridge. I have a Squier Mustang and a Squier Jag and both had the stock Mustang/Jaguar bridge and of course I always wasn't happy with it and thought it was bad.
What I didn't like about the Squier Mustang bridge was that as soon as I played and attacked the strings strongly (all the time) the strings came out of the bridge slots and it buzzed all the time.
So for my new Jag-Stang I wanted to buy a Staytrem but the wait is over 40 weeks so it's not worth it even if for me it might be the best Mustang/Jaguar/Jazzmaster bridge out there, and the used ones on Reverb are for like more than 200€.
Plus, I don't want to put a T-O-M nor a Mastery bridge on it.
So I looked at Thomann (the main/biggest music retailer here in Europe) and I found those 2 bridges that I think maybe a great update on the stock bridge:
https://www.thomann.fr/fender_bridge_mustang.htm
https://www.thomann.fr/fender_jaguar_jazzmaster_bridge.htm
Both are made by Fender, the first one is branded for Mustangs and the second one is branded for Jaguar/Jazzmaster,
both are made for 7.25 radius guitars, my Jag-Stang has a 7.25 radius so both are good,
but I don't know which one to get to remplace/upgrade the stock Mustang bridge already in the Jag-Stang.
Also I play 9-46 strings and I don't want to change because to me it's the best string gauge and the one I'm the most comfortable on.
Can you people out here help me with this please? Thanks!
