Rick some strat pups are staggered poles. some aren't. and if strat pups are wound a bit hotter, then i don't think it's much. they're both about 6 or 7k aren't they?
Aug yea...that's a fair estimation...all in all, there really isn't much difference, as you can get the same sound from either guitar should you desire...
