It will be, it just won't be an exact replica, the pickups in the reissues are very different to the vintage ones, the coils look like single coils when you take them out of the cover (tall and thin instead of short and fat) - get a CIJ and put some Seymour Duncans or Fender AV reissues in, then you'll have near as dammit the Jazzmaster sound.
