just got my AV jazzmaster from a local guitar store and have some problems: when i got home there was a good sized dent in the bottom of the neck, when i put it on layaway this past monday the dent wasnt there. im not bothered by it too much but if im going to shell out for a new AV jazzy it better be perfect. other thing is: i dont totally understand the circut thing (link with explanation anyone?) but when the cicut switch is in the down position there is a loud buzz in all positions even when fingers are on the strings although that makes it alittle quieter, which leads me to believe theres a grounding problem or a noisy volume pot. anyone know if this is just standard with the jazzmaster down circut? im slightly dissapointed although it does sound/play great not taking into consideration the buzzing.
