What kind of distortion are you using? It sounds REALLY chunky...
Also... Vintage Dimarzio Super II's.

I'll try to get a better picture later. There's duct-tape holding the pickup ring in place because the guy who cut the pickguard drilled the mounting holes a bit too large, and the tension of the spring pushes the screws out if they aren't held in place. It's a temporary fix and I might use a caulk gun underneath to try and set it right.
I saw a black/chrome Jag HH at Long & McQuade last time I was in Calgary, still had the plastic on the pup covers. I picked it up and played it, but the strings were like .8's and it sounded like ####. I didn't like it... Maybe I'm too used to using DR .11's with the Dimarzios now.
