Wiring Jazzmaster pickups...

I recently bought a CAR 65 RI Jazzmaster, with a matching headstock. I also bought 2 SD Quarter Pound pickups to go with it, since I hear that it's an essential upgrade.

All of the wiring diagrams I have found show the pickups as only having two wires, one is grounded to the pickguard, and the other goes to a switch. Is this all? The Jazzmaster hasn't been delivered yet, so I can't check.

i have a bridge cover but i cant play with it on it feels weird. but there good for show . were did you get your whitch hats ?

They're a little expensive but, I only needed one of each and aside from eBay, I couldn't find any.

it's not an essential upgrade. it's an optional change.

Where do I ground it to?

Supposedly the CIJ's don't come with the metal on the pickguard, so I can't put the ground on that.

take all ground wires to the volume pot then one wire to the trem.

From what I hear, they only made white witch hats for CBS jazzmasters. that's why they're so rare.
