I've never once knocked the strings out of my Jazzmaster loaded with Mustang bridge and Buzzstop, and play pretty pretty "forcefully".
Since the Buzzstop increases the angle that the strings go over the bridge, there's more tension. Any buzzing is, uh..stopped, and the strings are held tight to the bridge, meaning you can get the action as low as you want without the strings popping out every 5 seconds.
I know some folk on here hate Buzzstops, but screw 'em. It's worked great for me, even if it was pretty pricey for what it is. You can even still use the trem 😁
