Back, been out awhile......
I just got a 97' CIJ Jaguar that came with Cool Rails already installed (proud new owner). So far from what I can tell they sound very close to "hot wound" Jaguar pickups as I've been comparing it to the vintage 63' I got a lucky chance to play awhile back. They are just a tad bit thicker, but still have the same bite. I'll be putting some sounds of mine on soundclick tonight or tomorrow when I get back from work. They can also be tapped to get a thinner sound. The only real difference is there is a hint more bass, a little more output, and little to no noise. I'm in love with the sound of em' thats for sure, now I need to ditch that TUne-O-Matic for a normal Jaguar or Mustang bridge and I'll be set.
