Serviceman jag!

ok so i finally got the sunburst serviceman jag, and it is alot different than i had originally thought. there is no truss like the others but has a steel re-inforced neck which is kinda cool. i still cant tell what kind of wood the neck is tho. altho i like it alot. I have posted some pics of the inside on the same site as the other one and i will leave that at the bottom of this post. but the really cool thing is.

the pickguard is wood!!! i swear to all that is good the pickguard is wood. it has plastic over it but the underside is wood. its crazy. the only marknigs on it are a few fake patent numbers which are 555552 and 555553. and on the inside of the body is has the roman numerals IX(9) and on the underside of the neck as well. it plays somewhat but the electronics are very very very scratchy. im going to try and re-wire it as it was before but i suspect some of the problem is the actual hardware.

there is alot to say about it, and not enough room or time but if anyone has any questions please ask and i will be happy to answer.

sorry alot of the pics are blurry. one thing i think i should interject is the fact that the mute is identical to a us mute. not really in how it looks but how its functions with the spring and the plate. im in the process of trying to find a block inlay to replace the fret marker. my girlfriend has an old organ with ivory keys that have broken off and cracked so i think i am going to use some of those.

the blue one sounds really good actually, since i put a jb in the bridge and cleaned everything a bit. it plays reall nicely too.

i just got the snbt one put backtogether and it sounds pretty good considering. the bridge pu is weak but the neck is strong and the electronics are really confusing. it is way diff than my us jaguar. or my serviceman(blue)

its cool tho. i love screwing with it. i am going to keep it as stock as possible.

sorry the photos suck. i plan on re taking alot of them. it sucks cuz i don;t want to taKe it all apart again and catalog all the pieces again. but hey, thats life.
