yeah, frusciante does have too many pedals now. and he sounded way better six years ago when he only had 5 or 6 pedals on his board so there you go... there is such a thing as too many i think... if it hadn't been for that dumbass stadium album he'd still be down to like, 8... all those moog pedals (and the expression pedals dino mistook for wahs) are just his way of recreating the modular synth treatments he gave to all his guitar parts in the studio.
