FloydTheBarberNB I installed the new pickups in my Jazzmaster.Theres a lot of buzzing, which I assume has to do with grounding, but, the bridge pickup sounds thinner/weaker than the neck, what could cause this, or is it just a wiring error?
johnniespring the buzzing is probably cos you wired it wrong. the bridge pup sounding thinner than the neck is normal and is due to the laws of physics.
FloydTheBarberNB This sounds really stupid, but how do I do that?I couldnt get the screws all the way down on the bridge pickup, and the screws seemed to just hold them in place, not raise/lower things.
johnniespring sadly that's what happens woth jazzy pickups. you have to wedge something under them to raise them. the screws seem to be crap and the heads fall off them rather than screwing in.

FloydTheBarberNB The exact way the old pickups were. I'll check the wiring tomorrow, to make sure everything is connected securely.
