New Duo Sonic

For the wife this year for Christmas I am giving my wife a guitar.

I have been amassing parts to make a duo sonic for a few years. A lot of parts including the neck will be coming from the mustang I have been restoring for the last 15 years or so.

Here is the Body:

I will finish it in Shell Pink. I will post more after I get it done.

When I do eventually make a neck this will be the headstock decal:

Merry Christmas, my misses loved it!

As far as decals, I haven't made one yet, I might do it with the guy from the reranch borad or I might try and do it on a really good photo printer I have access to or, I might try and screen print it if I can get my equipment up and going...

Here is the Body with all the hardware. I still need to do the neck holes. The neck pocket is just a tad too tight so I need to fix that then I can start the finishing.

You're at the same stage in the build as I am with the Mustang.

If you look at the web link you will see where I am on restoring my mustang. The two black specks are burns from where incense fell on the body I need to sand down a do a whole 'nother color coat and crear coats. ☹
