dude when i was super into frusciante like up to 5 years ago i just used my fender jaguar with the jb jr. and TOM 😆 learn the songs, try and cop the style, use a fender neck pickup and you've got early frusciante down pat and you realise where most of that tone came from (remember, countless people before him used strats thru marshalls). by the time i got an AV '57 strat i was tired of playing that stuff all the time. the most fun i ever had playing frusciante was with a somewhat inappropriate guitar (he DID use jags after all...), so just crank it and and play your best.
i did have his exact model and year marshall amp though. i forgot that part.
