sonar 4.0 issue

hello,

I'm having this issue with making loops with sonar 4.0...

When i import a .wav file of one measure of a drumtrack, and set this up for looping, everything seems to be fine, but then i try to stretch it so it makes repetitions of that one measure, and the tempo gets slower, and it gets all distorted cause the pitch is being altered too.

Any help or tips would be apreciated....

that sounds normal. what you need is to time stretch it or something - so you stretch it over time but the pitch stays constant. i have no idea how to do that. you may need a different program.

It can totally be done in Sonar. You just need to make sure the selection you've made is enabled for groove looping or whatever it's called.
