Do your own thing mate , don't listen to these tossers, some have supplied decent info amongst these posts !
Most of them are up their own arses (thats an English term!). They probably don't even play in a band, & they definitely don't like newbies & do not believe what you say anyway !!! They are the original school bullies & part of a gang, individually they are internet cowards.
I suggest just listening to the music that you want to play, if thats Kurt Cobain then fair enough, play along with the tunes & sort your tones out, practise makes perfect. Remember that he sounded a good deal better in the studio. If you want to go as far as getting the same set up, then do it, but you will only end up with what you are blessed with - talent wise - you will never end up a clone of Kurt, but you will get close if you try.
