I was browsing ebay when I came accross this JS.

The guy selling it claimed it was made between '93-'94. Knowing my Fender "Made In Japan"/"Crafted in Japan" history, I contacted him to let him know his was actually made between '97 -'00 because of the "Crafted in Japan". He's dead certain it's a '93/'94 because the S# starts with an "O" and is followed by 6 digits, not 5.....and by the looks of the photo he has, it does? Any feedback on this one? Weird.

As per this page http://fenderjapan.co.jp/faq/serial.htm, CIJ with O followed by a zero and then 5 numbers is 1997-2000.

plus the jag-stang was first released late 1995, making the likelihood of it being a '93/'94.... not great.
