Hey all Just wanted to say thanks for the help with the questions I had about the Vista vs. New Jag-Masters. I got a new one, and it is great. I mean for the price you cant beat it. The pickups aren't that bad, I mean I can live with them till I get some other things taken care of. The neck is actually very nice for what you pay. The finish is very nice as well. The tuners are decent, and the pickup switch is the only thing that I dont care for. It switches too easy, I mean if it is set in the neck position and you just barely brush it it will fall back into the middle position. Lastly it feels like it is a $250 guitar. If you drop it it dosent feel like it would hold up as much as well as most other axes. Not that I plan to drop it or anything. The wood is just really soft. Ok I help it helps if anyone is considering one.

I've always liked it looks and might pick one up sometime soon and land some Dimarzios in it.

the vista serieas jag is fantastic it has the same tuners as the jaguar/mustang and high end fenders, the scale is a nice 24" the necks are amazing in feel and quility, everyone one that i have played has had a great fret dressing, they are out of this world great guitars for the price.

the 25.5 scale re-isssues are ok..... but nothing close to the originals

the Jagmaster was actually my first guitar (I'm not counting the First Act one I began learning on)...but it was pretty cool for a starter. Could easily be a good back-up as well. It could've used to adjustments here and there, but I didn't know about any of that stuff when I had it.
