Well he is I guess the 3rd owner of this guitar and tried fixing it up himself, thus the sanding marks on it. I put up two pictures of the Gibson I have up for sale/trade on the photo bucket link. I only paid about $375 for it and figured with the work to it $400 is fair. I realize a Jag-Stang is no U.S. made Gibson but if I can fix it up to where it looks good, then if I ever decide to sell it I could still potentially make my money back on it if that made any sense? hah.
He is going to give me money along with the Jag-Stang to make up the difference though. I haven't specified an amount yet since he said he's waiting to sell his violin and some other small things. He said I can have the money he makes from those sales so it may very well be more then I expected heh.
I'd much rather get one beat up like this and fix it up and make it my own rather then getting one that's cleaner and messing with it. That's just how I am though.
