fender used stackpole earlier on, then went onto something else. in any case, you wouldn't have thought that mustangs would have anything with stackpole on them, as they were dated after '64 (which is when the change from s'pole to the other brand was probably made).
although, i'm only really talking about the pots here. i always thought about all the switches as being switchcraft, and not stackpole. never really thought about stackpole switches, but i suppose they must've been. i'm not entirely sure when the switchcraft name came into existence. it is used on all reissue switches. i had a set of switchcraft on my '65 mustang. but they were unoriginal. looked old though.
