Anybody know much about Fender Twin Reverb Amps? I have wanted one for awhile and finally sold the ole Marshall Half Stack to get one, but there are so many specifications to them. I have learned that Original Blackface is tops, and the 1970's Silverfaces are the next best thing. You can even find some Silverface models that have been modded to Blackface specs. I have about $1300 to spend, I have a few I am looking at on ebay, but its a bit of an investment so I want to be safe...Some have told me that the reissues sound really good too, i have played one in a local store, and a Silverface at a friends house, but its hard to tell unless you are side by side.
Even some directions to some good websites to be used gear, or a good Fender Amp Information site...I have been looking but haven't found much.
I have been looking on ebay and the 1970's Silverfaces (which is what I really want, i think) and they go from $700-$1200, but I live in Hawaii so shipping is like $300.
