yes, they are both mine. I am going order a red tort for the KC jag from pickguardheaven. I am not enthralled with the brown tort pickguard.

So far, I am really impressed with the tonal variety of the KC jag. Both guitars compliment each other very well. While the KC jag lacks the "jaguar" sound, it does have a really nice fat, warm tone. When I first stomped my distortion pedal, the KC jag melted my face. 😲 I am sure these two guitars will keep me occupied for years.

How different do the necks feel? I see that the KC Jag's neck isn't as wide.

Actually, the necks are the same size. The binding on the KC jag creates the illusion of being smaller (blending with the white wall). Overall, the two guitars feel very similar. If I was blindfolded, the only way I could tell them apart is by tone (without cheating and feeling for the switches / knobs / bridge).

yeah i think that is just an illusion. the necks should be identical, aside from the kurty being routed round the edge for the binding and with bigger frets put in
