Old age has removed some cool performers that should still damn well grace the stage no matter wrinkles or fat.... Tom Waits is one that comes to mind (not fat I know)...

oh! there's certainly exceptions to every rule....take Neil Young for example. I certainly don't mind him...or Willie Nelson for that matter...but, the stones? gimme a break.

There's a wierd crossover, because setups go in this section, but effects and amps go in the other one, so people just don't tend to come in here and just post everything in the other one. So as a result, a lot of the threads in here are stoneage yet on the first page.

Depends what sound you want really. A volume pedal after an distortion box will work as a master volume, before the distortion it'd increase/decrease the input gain, so would effect the gain level and volume.

And delay after modulation effects can be fun, especially with something like flange..

I'd hae delay after modulation. If I had any modulating pedals. And i ahve toyed with the idea of a volume pedal last in the chain. And one in the middle. and one in front. But i didnt have like $200.
