wiring problem

My Dakota Red RI Stang got a broken wire and im wondering where it goes.

Ive since soldered it to the bottom Tone knob, and the sound is noticably thicker, also humbucker like all positions except ---x x--- I kinda like the thicker sound, but im wondering if its the correct position.

can I get any help here, it sounds really really deep and dead now, and im wondering where the hell that wire should be soldered.

Take off the scratchplate- where is loose wire going to?

That wire should go to the rear switch.

Dude you have about 20 Mustangs, open up another one and compare.

problem fixed wired it to the volume, the stang sounds better then ever. Malik I did open up my other stang, and the wires where different colors 🙄
