DickPresto Does anyone know the usual fretboard radius on these guys? I'm guessing fret size is medium.I'm trying to spend less than $300 on one, which seems to be impossible with an actual Jazzmaster neck. May have to go Warmoth or Allparts or something.
Rick i'm almost certain they're all 7.25" radius. though the warmoth ones may have a 12"-16" compound radius, or whatever they do
robertoriginal you can get a jap jazzy neck for around 100.00you are almost better off getting a strat neck with a vintage profile and late sixties headstock, if you do that go to mighty might, you can usually get a neck for around 100 thru them.warmoth is too much.
driveblind You might also want to check out an eBay store called The STRATosphere. They always have a few Jazzmaster necks (usually off of the Vintage Reissue) in stock or for auction. Some might be more expensive than your $300 limit, but it looks like you might be able to find something in your price range. http://stores.ebay.com/The-STRATosphereI've bought a few things from them lately and the service and shipping have always been top-notch.
