fanboy Hi I have a 1969 lake placid blue competition mustang. it came with only the bridge pup which i moved to the neck and i installed a black seymour duncan hot rails pickup in the bridge. so this guitar is almost just like kurt cobain's mustang from the "smells like teen spirit" video which, as i understand it, had hot rails in the bridge. the old mustang bridge pickup which i moved to the neck is just too weak compared to the hot rails and when both pickups are activated i'd like something in the neck that would mix well with the hot rails, the stock pickup is so faint that the hot rails just drown it out. i was thinking of maybe a fender vintage noiseless or texas special neck pickup but i'd like suggestions. maybe SD vintage rails or cool rails?
BanditGuitarist1 I dont think Cobain had hotrails in that guitar Im pretty sure it was all stock in SLTS video, all his other Re-Issue stangs where modified but not his 69' Least thats what I think. For the neck what about a lil 59eror cool rail would work to.
