i use the drop d tuning a lot and was wondering how the New York sounds in drop d and if it was advisable to use heavier strings whilst doing so?
Also i have played a couple of mustangs and they sounded amazing in clean but the pick ups were slightly weak when using distortion, would it be advisable to have decent pick ups put on and has any one here done so (curious if you lose that awesome clean sound)
