Mustang body , tremolo plate i other stuff measures??

hello guys , i am new in this forum , but old in the site , concratulations for this site , its wonderful . I really like these guitar mentionet in the site .

I posted this threat because I want to make my own mustang . I really like this gutar ,but unfortunelly i dont have the money to buy it . I live in South - East Europe and there are no Mustangs here. So my options are 1) to buy Squier Cyclone or 2) to make Mustang on my own.

I will find neck ,potenciometers and maybe something like plastic for cover . I need the measurments of the bridge (yu know this dynamic vibrato thins which are so beautiful ) . The measurments of the body itself nad the control plot ..

IF i need to buy the Squier cyclone and remake it like a mustang , I will need at least the size and measures of the dynamic vibrato .

Please guys help me , maybe a lot of you have some of this beautiful guitars . You only need to make measures and post tthem in sentimeters and milimeters ,but whatever you can help will be nice . Thanks a lot for attention and future help ( i hope for) .

you would be better off buying a template or a tracing from aug, i have an old duo body that is essentiall the same, but the neck pocket has been compromised.

hm , where can i find these tracing things ??? and what is the cost for them ? what is your body ? do you sell it ?? please give me more info. I need a sketch of the entire body of a mustang and the bridge and i maybe the control plot ,that's all . Please people help ,thanks again

with a template, the only measurements you'll need are how deep to make your routes and to secure a proper 24" distance from the inside of the nut.

Well if someone here can give me the sketch of the body and the dynamic vibrato and control plate, I can assure you that it will cost me less than 100$ . I will find a turner for the dynamic vibrato and the control plate(which maybe i will do by myself) and woodworker for the body . The only big problem is that nobody will give me the f..... sketch . If you are so lazy please just give me the measurments of the dynamic vibrato pleaseee..thanks

And as about buying somethin' from you or purchasing unpainted /unfinished body .. i think its stupid idea ... you know the Squier Cyclone which has the same body structure and even more elements are the same is 215 Euro and its brand new . If nobody helps me maybe I will buy one and then if again nobody gives me the measurments of the dynamic vibrato plate I will have to buy it for 60$ it was i guess which is 1/4 of the Squier's price ...I am sure that if someone give's me sketchs and measures I can make everything on my own ...

it may be kinda tricky to do that tho.

there is not really a center line that you could easily establish, and if you did, whats to say that it still wouldn;t be off.

you may want to actually find a pic of a mustang body, i mean a good pic, nice n flat and all, and blow it up to size, and then come with all your measurements from that.

like you could easily buy a pickguard which would show you where your pup routes would be and your bridge plate.

and if you can remember that the neck pocket is 3 inches deep(not depth)

you may be able to get somewhere doing that,but i doubt you will get a good accuracy but someone telling you random measurements from one end to another and then to the side.

Yea, thats what i need , some measurments from side to side and i will check it with one picture . You are right but can you help with this ? Hey somebody please take a measure 😀

i will take some measurements and take some photos but to be compeltely honest its not what you need.
