Another question- this time about 3-way toggle switches

Yeah, this is something else I want to do to my Jag, swap the on/ off switches in the lead circuit for a Gibson 3-way toggle switch. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this modification?

I'm going to have to post a photo or two of the guitar when I've finished these mods. I'll be getting a custom tortoiseshell pickguard to accomodate the 3-way switch and such, which means sacrificing some chrome, but it should look interesting at least. 😀

Nice. 😀 Did you completely remove the rhythm circuit on that?

I plan on keeping the chrome bit up at the top with the rhythm controls though, and it'll still have the strangle switch.

I thought the specials still had all the circuit switching and strangle switch and stuff. 😕

The Baritone Special HH comes like that as standard, just a three-way switch - i may add some funkiness with a coil tap and Stellartone tone pot to get a bit more out of it. The regular HH (which i also have) has all the usual Jag mad-switching:

i'm currently looking for proper Jag knobs to replace the chrome ones and will eventually have Bare Knuckle pickups in there and maybe get a tort or MoP scratchplate - you can't really see the black on black one too well - at least the baritone scratchplate has a white outline. Anyway back to the main attraction (sorry to hijack your thread like that 😕 ).

😆 Don't worry about it, I like seeing what other people have done to their guitars, it gives me ideas.

But yeah, still, if anyone can give me a wiring diagram for replacing the lead circuit on/ off switches for a 3-way toggle, I'd be very grateful. 😀
