Mustang body

Hi, I'm new here and I recently became obsessed with the mustang...

I was at a pawn shop-music store type place and I saw a black mustang body hanging on the wall. It still had the pickguard but no electronics.

Oddly enough, it looked like the pickguard was routed to fit 2 humbuckers.

I'd love to buy this body and throw on a neck and some humbuckers...

Will any fender neck fit? I read in another thread that only tele necks dont fit... but wouldnt a different scale neck throw off the bridge position and intonation?

Also, it's black, so would it be a duo sonic? I can't remember if I saw any routing for the tremolo or not...

any Fender 24" or 22.5" scale neck will fit. Mustang, Musicmaster, Bronco, etc.

A stratocaster neck is 25.5" and although it will "fit" it will not intonate without moving the bridge back about an inch or so. Not worth the trouble.
